'Blooming Iraq' event
PNWJ will be supporting the 'Blooming Iraq' event that will be held on July 1st from 1 to 7 p.m. at Space Rakuta (6-8-7 Rakuta Bldg. 2F, Minami Karasuyama, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, Tel. 03-5313-8151).
The event is sponsored by the Iraq Hope Network, and will feature presentations about its civilian and humanitarian aid in Iraq, including support of refugees; an overview of recent Iraqi TV news coverage; introduction of Arab music, arts, food and drink; a special belly dance performance; and more! Don't miss this chance to learn about Iraqi culture and the lives of real Iraqis.
Please note, the day's events will be held in Japanese only, with no English interpretation.
25% of all PNWJ CD sales during the event will go to support the activities of the Iraq Hope Network, which is a Japan-based consortium of NGOs, aid-workers, journalists, lawyers, university professors and volunteers who together sponsor projects in Iraq focused on humanitarian aid, reconstruction and human rights.
